Among the four killed in a clash between armed groups Beltran Leyva and Guzman in the town of Cosala in Sinaloa state, an operator of the Sinaloa cartel was confirmed Efe a source of authority.
The operator was nicknamed "90 Guero" and controlled the town of Cosala in northern and mountainous area of this state, as reported by an element of the Mexican Army.
The deceased is Juan Carlos Landeros, 35 and originally from Cosalá.
The Sinaloa cartel is led by kingpin Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada and Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, who was captured in January this year and imprisoned in a jail while facing extradition proceedings to the United States.
Seven bodies were found today in the towns of Culiacán Cosala and three of them burned.
The first of the events recorded in Cosalá where four people, including the operator of the Sinaloa cartel, were shot dead during a clash that occurred at the gas station that is located at the entrance of the village.
The four victims were taken by the funeral guard to the Forensic Medical Service at the port of Mazatlan, Sinaloa, to perform the procedures set by law.
Later the local authority also reported a clash between armed groups killed three people in the town of El Habal, in the city of Mazatlan, while several people were injured and are hospitalized.
