The Attorney General (FGE) sent to the mass grave the remains of eight bodies that were found in the Coscontla community in the municipality of Huatusco, in the mountainous central region of Veracruz.
The bodies classified as NI (unidentified) were found on June 3, two days before the local electoral process, however, that day the spokesman for the prosecutor, Omar Zuniga and staff of the Directorate of Ministerial Investigation denied the facts of forcefully.
A day later, the mayor of Emiliano Zapata, Daniel Olmos, admitted that unknown persons left him a human head in a park in the town of Carrizal, threatening him with death. His son of the same name won a day after the local council for the PAN-PRD coalition.
The remains found in Huatusco were severed and in varying degrees of decomposition.
The burial of the same was done in total secrecy after 22 days of discovery.

So far the Attorney General has issued no official information on the discovery of eight bodies.
