The war between the Chapos, empty the Golden Triangle

Badiraguato, Sinaloa.- The Golden Triangle is desolate. The exodus of families by fighting between rival criminal gangs has continued over the last week.

As reported, the dispute over control of drug trafficking has intensified in this key site located between Sinaloa, Chihuahua and Durango, cradle of drug producers and exporters.

There is La Tuna, one of the 530 communities that have Badiraguato and where its home mother of Joaquin El Chapo Guzman Loera, the leader still Sinaloa Cartel.

Neighbors insist that the home was attacked by Fausto Isidro Meza Flores "El Chapo Isidro", representative of the Beltrán-Leyva Cartel.


The war between the Chapos worsened after the elections on June 5th. Hooded Isidro, signed since 2014 by the United States Department of the Treasury, went into the mountains to attack members of the cartel Guzman Loera, say residents of other communities.

There is a declaration of open war. A villagers are reflected fear in the face, especially since prior to the armed conflict were given only two hours to get down and leave the Golden Triangle.

Much of the inhabitants of Badiraguato have never dared to climb to the Triangle, as they say, "is hell."

The communities most affected by violence were initially Arroyo Seco, La Tuna and La Palma, subsequently spread to Huixiopa, vanilla and San José del Llano.

The source is a family feud between Guzman Loera and the Beltran Leyva who are related to several marriages, and seek to remove the drug empire El Chapo.
